From the supplier: Corrugated intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) offer two main advantages to food manufacturers. These are low costs of at least $20 and $80 a piece for dry bulk and liquid containers, respectively, and durability. However, the benefits of reusing corrugated IBCs remain uncertain. The FDA has yet to to set clear guidelines for IBC reuse. Nonetheless, some companies have reused IBCs for individually quick frozen products.
