From the supplier: A study was made to determine whether the Tritrac-R3D Activity Monitor or hear rate (HR) was the more useful measure to determine objective assessments of physical activity. The activities of young children were assessed using both Tritrac and a HR monitor. It was discovered that the combination of the Tritrac and HR procedures resulted in an insignificant advantage over either procedure when used alone. However, the two procedures were used in isolated conditions over short periods. It is suggested that usage of both procedures in one full day may yield better results.
