From the supplier: Trusted retail brands in Europe are expected to benefit much from the adoption of the euro as the single currency unit of EU countries in 1999. A survey conducted by UK consultancy European Insight Group revealed that leading non-bank retailers such as Marks and Spencer, WH Smith and Tesco will have a golden opportunity to leverage their branding advantage and assuage consumer fears about the euro.
