From the supplier: Instructional Technology Services (ITS) at Western Michigan University began, in 1995, to create a series of instructional seminars titled Enhancing Teaching with Technology (ETT). The seminars provided a forum for teachers who were beginning to deal with the challenges of educational graphics and instructional technology issues. As a means of expanding the educational purview of these seminars, ITS joined with University Computing Services staff and the Office of Faculty Development to conduct an intensive week-long event called ETTI (Enhancing Teaching with Technology Institute). The expanded format gives participants a full week of instruction and lab time, with a final day for discussion and evaluation.
