From the supplier: There are three reasons why the concept of Writing Across Curriculum (WAC) programs do not work. First, assignments in WAC programs are often wrong because they focus on writing performed in academia rather that business writing which is about writing performed in business. Second, other faculty of WAC programs lack the training to teach business writing. Lastly, WAC programs do not allow the adequate time needed in teaching writing. A solution to these problems is the creation of a separate course for business writing.
