From the supplier: Modern art critics regard renaissance art as graphic narratives of political and social events in 13th and 15th century Europe. Much of Italian renaissance art depict religious and Christian themes. There are also some significant works that depict anti-semitism during the 13th century, such as the trial of Christ before Annas and Caiaphas. Art depictions during this time were biased against the Jews since ant-semitism was accepted by many Italians during the time.
