From the supplier: The US Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit, in Venters v. City of Delphi, broadened the kind of harassment claims that can be brought under Title VII. Title VII prohibits employment discrimination based on gender. For discrimination in the form of sexual harassment, courts limited claims to quid pro quo demands for sexual favors. The Court broadened this category to include religious demands imposed by a supervisor on an employee.
