From the supplier: The analysis of Izak Bensabat and Robert Zmud regarding the irrelevance of information systems (IS) research is partly problematic. One problem is that the authors failed to consider some broader institutional issues affecting the definition of relevance in different research contexts. Another is that they failed to realize that teaching is the most effective way in which IS research findings can be appropriated in practice.
