Hence, it is important for the cooperating teacher to supply a supportive learning environment which allows the student teacher to develop the necessary skills, strategies and methods for effective teaching. The cooperating teacher should try to get to know the student teacher and establish rapport to put him/her at ease. During the actual teaching period, should be aware of the principles of modeling, affording adequate practice, and feedback.
