From the supplier: Young white males who have stronger relationships with computers than other people, sometimes called "nerds," have a unique masculine construct. Often regarded as a negative stereotype, the nerd can connect to hegemonic masculinity through a backlash against Affirmative Action and other civil rights initiatives.
