From the supplier: Members of Generation X approach life in ways that are radically different from members of the Baby Boom generation. Not surprisingly, tensions between boomer managers and their younger staffers tend to simmer as the generation gap makes its disruptive presence felt. Quite often, boomer managers and their clients find it difficult to work with brash young staffers whose attitudes border on arrogance. To counter these generational tensions, firms are advised to understand baby buster attitudes and come up with a system for mentoring and retaining talented younger staff.
