From the supplier: Language resources enable members of an organization to take on multiple roles. The individual first discerns what level of interaction exists between himself and the person spoken to. In turn, a decision is made as to how to handle and react to the specific interaction. A case study concerning a major Canadian bank was used to draw conclusions regarding interactions of discourse, self and social structures. The study concludes that the ability to maintain a unified sense of self is essential to daily social survival.
