From the supplier: Globalization has been described as the expansion of markets and the reduction of impediments to the free exchange of goods, services and assets. Many analysts see globalization as a kind of market phenomenon. Conventional trade theory may not be enough to fully explain its growth and socio-political implications. Three types of economic activity are expected to be affected by globalization, namely, domestic trade, foreign direct investment and financial capital flows.
