From the supplier: Timing is the key to the success of new products in the food industry as evidenced by the failure of several products that were rolled out ahead of their time. One example is Campbell Soup Co's Fresh Chef Refrigerated Soups and Sauces. It was launched in 1986, ahead of the current movement of the soup market towards ready-to-serve soups. Another is Nestle's New Cookery line of nutritious foods launched in 1980, whose concept is similar to ConAgra's immensely successful Health Choice line.
