With Abaqus, Dassault Systèmes Bets Heavily on Simulation

This IDC Flash discusses the acquisition of Abaqus Inc., the well-respected provider of computer-aided engineering (CAE) software, by French product life-cycle management (PLM) applications provider Dassault Systèmes (DS). The merger will be a win-win: DS will strengthen its simulation software offering, and Abaqus will benefit from the strength of DS and IBM in the global PLM market.
