Western European Managed Web Hosting Forecast, 2004-2009

This IDC study sizes and forecasts the Western European market for managed Web hosting services. The forecast is split by country and company size. It shows where growth in the hosting market is coming from, and how the relative levels of small versus large company hosting spending are changing.

James Eibisch, research director of European Business Network Services, said, "the hosting market in Europe is coming alive again after a tough few years and now slightly over half of companies host their Web site with an external supplier. Traditional providers still need to streamline their processes to compete with the SME specialists that are moving up to target large enterprises."
