Right after World War II the forerunner of the CIA, the Office of Strategic Services, wrote this book detailing the methods used for evaluating personnel and their potentian usefulness. It is, in essense, a handbook on how to set up and run an intelligence organization. It is quite rare today, even in its reprint form, because all of the material is as relevant today as it was when written. Absolutely essential for anyone studying the OSS, CIA, Cold War, MI-5 or MI-6, or any topic related to intelligence and espionage.
