Corporate Accountability for What and to Whom Must the Manager Answer?

The framers of the Constitution declared that a holder of power within a sphere of influence must answer for that power in "another place". Accountability is the vital thread between the corporate environment and the "other" place. Paul Gaddis's book asks the question that businessmen must now confront. To whom shall they answer for their conduct of the business? The stockholders? The customers? The employees? Or some combination of these?
