From the author: Dovobet[R] is a compounded combination of calcipotriol [also calcipotriene] and betamethasone diproprionate, and is used for psoriasis vulgaris once daily. For this photo case presentation, Dovobet was used once daily in combination with UFB phototherapy 3 times a week. Light therapy was increased by 10% increments at each visit or as tolerated by the patient. Results show the combination of light therapy plus Dovobet may be an effective and convenient option in the treatment of psoriasis.
