Transboundary Resource Inventory Glossary: Spanish-English Cartographic, Environmental and Oil Spill Terms

A glossary of basic environmental, cartographic and oil spill terms employed in the United States and Mexico, as well as a list of abbreviations denoting government agencies and pertinent laws and regulations in these two countries. This is a specialized compilation and does not pretend to be comprehensive. The glossary and abbreviations are compiled by the Texas General Land Office for use by those in the United States and Mexico working with us on the Transboundary Resource Inventory Project, which is a binational initiative to map ad measure the natural resources of the Gulf coast and border region.
