A GRAMMAR OF THE HINDI LANGUAGE: In Which are Treated the High Hindi, Braj, and the Eastern Hindi of the Ramayan of Tulsi Das (also The Colloquial Dialects of Rajputana, Kumaon, Avadh, Riwa, Bhojpur, Magadha, Maithila, Etc.)
Description
Kegan Paul, 1938.Salmon colored octavo is sound and clean. The spine is somewhat faded and spotted, upper corners are bumped and overall a bit dingy, but the boards are quite firm and the text clear. The major defects(s) are the two fold out philological charts extend beyond the page ends and are thus torn, though neither effects the charts themselves. Quick work with a razor would put it right and do no harm, but I'd rather the buyer do that. A nice vintage copy of this landmark work. E2
