Ramprasad Sen (c. 1718-1775) Important Mystic, Poet and Spiritual Devotee of the Divine Mother, the Goddess Kali. He practiced the Tantric Sadhana, one the most misunderstood Hindu spiritual practices, achieving Brahman, the ultimate reality, the be-all and end-all of human life. Ramprasad was a major influence on the 19th century Mystic Ramakrishna, and through his Hindu Modernist disciple Vivekananda, on the West.
