This IDC study of the Canadian networking equipment market presents IDC's market sizing and spending forecast for LAN switches, routers, telephony, wireless LANs, and other data networking (i.e., optical, security appliances, and storage switches). "The Canadian network equipment market grew 4.9% in 2007, with Canadian companies collectively spending C$2.05 billion. Spending is forecast to grow to C$2.86 billion by 2012," said Jason Bremner, director of research, Canadian Infrastructure Hardware.
