Journal published by the Christian Research Institute with an apologetics orientation. Features top-notch writers of the evangelical world and has a more serious tone than CRI's radio broadcast.
  
Frequent authors include Norman Geisler, Francis Beckwith, Bob and Gretchen Passantino; Elliot Miller, James R. White, Ken Samples, Douglas Groothuis.
  
Every issues has essays on cults (both major and little-known), the occult, Word-Faith, Eastern religions, Islam, apologetics (esp. biblical and resurrection), philosophy (e.g., relativism), social issues (esp. abortion, homosexuality, euthanasia). Essays often deal with theological issues such as the Trinity, Protestant-Catholic issues, and biblical interpretation.
  
Volumes 11 and 12 were published 3 times per year, 4 issues per volume began with volume 13, except volumes 16 and 26 had 3 issues, and 6 issues per volume began with volume 27.
  
Most issues have 48-54 pages. The earlier issues have 32-40 pages. Paper is glossy or semi-glossy.
