This IDC study presents a five-year updated forecast of the worldwide storage management software market for 2008-2012 along with vendor shares for 2007. The forecast through 2012 represents a CAGR of 8.5% for the period. While practically every market is adjusting on account of the worldwide financial crisis, certain technologies will play a larger role than others in the solution plan. Worldwide, customers are tightening virtually every control available to them.
