Island of Fire (The Age of Bronze)

In the fifth of this series, Diwomede is returned from captivity in Mizriya to his native land, only to discover that a decade-long drought and years of famine and plague have made life impossible. A motley band of refugees from many lands begins a pilgrimage, seeking a new home in a land where rain still falls, where crops still grow, and where roaming bandits do not carry off women and children into lives of servitude. Follow the unhappy adventurers to discover the final fates of the last survivors of the Trojan War, the ultimate destinations of the defeated Sea Peoples who had unsuccessfully attacked Egypt following that war, and the origins of those enigmatic Etruscans on Fire Island in the Bull Country to the west.
