The Genealogy of Frederick Yeates and His Wives Sarah Webb and Sarah Maria Spackman

This Volume is dedicated to the memory of Frederick Yeates in recognition of his great interest in Genealogical and Temple Work. He was the first of his family to join the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the first to emmigrate to Utah to be with the Saints. In 1912, he organized the Yeates Genealogical Society to better concentrate the efforts of the family in the important work of the redemption of their kindred dead. Throughout his lifetime he was very active in searching for the vital records of his ancestors, and continually encouraged his children to become interested in this work. After Grandfather Yeates died, the genealogical work for the Yeates and Webb families was carried on primarily by his daughters, Mary Elizabeth Yeates, Graham Hulse, Eliza Ann Yeates Cantwell, and Sylvia Chance Yeates Jessop.
