KENNETH M. ROBERTS is President and Chief Investment Officer of KenRoberts Investment Management, Inc., an investment advisory company thatmanages assets approximating $380 million. He began his investmentcareer as a Security Analyst with Murphey-Favre and worked there invarious capacities ranging from Security Trader, Research Analyst, andPortfolio Manager from 1968 to1973. In 1973, he joined Foster &Marshall as a Registered Representative and Security Analyst. While atFoster & Marshall, he became President and Portfolio Manager of theFoster & Marshall Growth Fund (now the Smith Barney Fundamental ValueFund), which he managed from 1981 to1990. In 1991, he formed KenRoberts Advisory Group, which was an investment management subsidiary ofthe Spokane office of Smith Barney. In 1994, he began Ken RobertsInvestment Management, Inc., as an independent investment advisor. He iscurrently serving on the Board of Directors of FLOW International aswell as the Finance Advisory Board for Washington State University. Hehas been a past President of the Spokane Chapter of the Seattle Societyof Financial Analysts and is current Treasurer of that organization. He received his BA degree in Economics from Whitworth College and an MBAdegree in Finance from Harvard University. -
