Phonetic Transliterated Siddur Evening Service for the Sabbath and Festivals With Page Number References to Siddur Sim Shalom, 1985 and 1998 Editions .A real breakthrough! Now you can use your Sim Shalom siddur and actually "read" the Hebrew!The prayers in the HPLS Phonetic Transliterated Siddur follow the traditional order, which is very close to the order of the 1998 Siddur Sim Shalom. In the 1984 Siddur Sim Shalom, however, some sections are not in the same order, but can be easily located by following the page-number references. Also, some alternate passages that are peculiar to one or both of the Sim Shalom editions have been included in the HPLS Phonetic Transliterated Siddur, with permission of The Rabbinical Assembly. These passages were specifically requested by Congregation Bnai Amoona to be included in the HPLS Phonetic Transliterated Siddur.For the most part, the HPLS Phonetic Transliterated Siddur includes all the material in the transliterated HPLS Siddur, Volume 5, with the exclusion of the additional prayers for Nusach Sefard and Nusach HaAri (Chabad). Thus, some traditional passages that are not in Siddur Sim Shalom have been included in the HPLS Phonetic Transliterated Siddur, thus making the siddur compatible with other siddurim. The additional passages are indicated by notation through the text as "Not Sim Shalom", and in the Table of Contents by three dashes (---). Also, in the Preliminary Prayers section, these passages are in smaller typeface.All HPLS publications use the unique triple-tiered HPLS format designed for participation, comprehension and confidence.
