Dancing With a Chameleon

When Australian financier George Carter is invited to London to discuss a financial transaction, he does not know he will soon become part of an international money laundering scheme involving governments. The plan is to funnel a fortune in cash from a European bank vault – money accumulated from skimmed financial aid from a major world power – into the United States. With no money trail and hundreds of millions of dollars at stake, there are pressures and hostilities from both within the group and authorities resulting in a twisted web of international intrigue and a desperate hunt for a mastermind across Europe and Central America.

Peter Russell was inspired to write this story after being involved in the events first-hand. He has been writing plays and poetry for years, but it was not until his experiences with the players in this story that he decided to write his first book. He lives in Australia. His next book, Three’s a Crowd, is set in New York City.
