Of Lives and Crosses: Stories from a Place Called Duran

These are the stories of the people and faces who live in a slum near Guayaquil, Ecuador. They are stories of suffering and joy, friendship and strength, poverty and wealth. Told in the framework of the Way of the Cross, the stories illustrate a strong sense of God’s presence with those who suffer as well as the holy dignity that is so captivatingly evident in the poorest of Duran, Ecuador.
