This wild and free wheeling novel is fun to read for the way it throws in every contemporary crotchet from UFOs to the Darwin/Creationism controversy, Terrorism, earth targeted asteroids, environmental disaster, and just about everything the Syfy and History Channels have to offer all served up with many other hot topics for a fun theme park ride. The title is the famous Mayan "end times date". The world is supposed to end but in this book it just changes.
