INTRODUCTION
As a medical specialist, you will treat patients with eye, ear, and nose injuries. These injuries can be very sensitive to the patient. You must use extreme care when working with these patients. This subcourse describes procedures for treating and dressing injuries to the eye, irrigating and applying medication to the eye, irrigating the ear, and treating nosebleed.

This subcourse consists of seven lessons. The lessons are as follows:
Lesson 1, Irrigate, Instill Eye Drops, and Apply Ointments to the Eye.
Lesson 2, Identify Principles of Application of a Dressing to an Eye Injury.
Lesson 3, Treat Foreign Bodies of the Eye.
Lesson 4, Treat Lacerations, Contusions, and Extrusions of the Eye.
Lesson 5, Treat Burns of the Eye.
Lesson 6, Irrigate an Obstructed Ear.
Lesson 7, Treat a Patient with Epistaxis (Nosebleed).
