Jems from Panchatantra

Panchatantra is a famous ancient classic. It has been widely acclaimed as children’s book largely because it has stories featuring mostly animals. But the wisdom contained in it and the moral of the stories are beyond age limitations. The words of wisdom are dispersed throughout the book either in the form of quotations or just simple statements. The book was written more than two thousand years ago but these words transcend time and cultures even outside the context of the stories. This booklet presents them as a separate collection.
