From the author: The 1990s and 2000s have been characterized by constant change and intense competition. As the business environment has become more complex and the rate of change has increased, the ultimate challenge facing management accountants is the commitment and ability to adapt to the environment. This study reviews the websites of the Fortune 100 companies since 2003 (utilizing 2003, 2006, and 2009 Fortune 100 companies) to identify common characteristics that will help management accountants in deciding on a model for financial reporting on the internet.
