Worldwide Enterprise Server Cloud Computing 2010-2014 Forecast

This IDC study presents IDC's enterprise server cloud computing forecast from 2010 through 2014 in terms of customer revenue, shipments, CPU type, form factor, and workload. This document also presents partial results of IDC's Datacenter and Cloud Computing Survey fielded in January 2010.

"Both public and private cloud will shape the server market through 2014," said Katherine Broderick, research analyst, IDC's Enterprise Servers and Datacenter Trends. "Cloud will grow from a $3.8 billion opportunity in 2010, representing over 600,000 units, to a $6.4 billion market in 2014, with over 1.3 million units."
