This Halcyon Classics ebook contains twenty-two stories by Russian-born author Alexander Nicholayevitch Romanoff, a second cousin of Czar Nicholas II who wrote under the pen name Achmed Abdullah. Abdullah (1881-1945) is most noted for his pulp stories of crime, mystery and adventure. He wrote also screenplays for some successful films, two of which received Academy Award nominations in 1927 and 1935.
