Dynamics of Nuclear Systems (Nuclear Engineering Symposium March, 1970)

Collection of papers on the dynamics of nuclear systems developed from the symposium on this theme, held at the University of Arizona March 23-25, 1970. We are continuing a tradition of annual symposia on nuclear engineering that was started by Professor Lynn Weaver in 1962. The subject of reactor dynamics was discussed at two previous meetings and comparing these conferences, one sees notable progress in the field, including a significant trend toward deeper study of complex problems in the rear world of reactor safety. Problems of space dependence and of the interaction of materials are receiving increasing care and attention, and much new understanding has been achieved.
