The Children of Shem

Circa 2006 Ahmed Alwani lives a hectic and idiosyncratic life of a Silicon Valley computer programmer. When he is connected to a gruesome murder having international implications, he finds out first hand what it means to be an Arab American Muslim in the post-9/11 American justice system. The Children of Shem is a look at Ahmed's irreverent approach to clearing his name and unraveling a multi-national conspiracy as well as absurd belief systems that lead to insane U.S. foreign policy.
