Norway Project Services 2009 Vendor Shares and 2010-2014 Forecast

This IDC study presents IDC's yearly analysis of the project services market in all its components. The first part looks at the market development during 2009 and the vendor shares for project services.

"Even though the fall in GDP was only 1.9% in 2009 in Norway — which makes Norway one of the economies in Western Europe that best withstood the financial crisis — the project services market still declined 3.1%," said Nils Molin, managing director, IDC Sweden. "Even though the crisis was labeled 'the financial crisis,' the worst effect was witnessed in other sectors, like manufacturing. The vertical that hold up demand best in 2009 was no doubt the public sector," continued Molin.
