Storm Signals

It's the last months of WW II. The Japanese still occupy a large number of islands in the South Pacific. On one island, a young woman goes fishing each day to avoid the soldiers. She is caught in a severe storm in her outrigger canoe and blown towards a deserted island.
This island will soon be visited by an American submarine depositing a young Naval Officer on a secret mission...
