Arno's reprint edition, part of the 9 volume complete run of issues of The Ladder as published by the Daughters of Bilitis. This is only 1 volume in the set. In the introduction to volume 1, Gene Damon (pseudonym of Barbara Grier) writes, "Beginning as a ten page mimeographed newsletter, it grew to become a fifty eight page slick bi- monthly magazine. The first issue went to about 100 persons; the last issue to about 3800." In bright orange cover.
