The Tiny Tiger (The Tiger King Chronicles)

He is born to be King of the Jungle, his mother is murdered, his evil relative is trying to kill him, his family is gone and finally, he is raised by apes.

The Tiny Tiger follows the life of the tiny tiger prince, Kotarou, and the terrifying legend of the tiger-dragon Ju-long. Kotarou tries to survive the deadly pursuit of his father, King Abhik. The King is disgusted with Kotarou’s premature size and wants another son to be born, however, the queen defends her cub and is murdered by Abhik. Kotarou flees his father and is saved by a group of high-flying gibbons where the Prince is befriended by the ever-patient Baojia and his tree-surfing, younger brother, Hideki. Here, Kotarou learns to swing through the trees as the most graceful of gibbons and prepares himself for one last confrontation with his father, but the great Ju-long also has his eyes set on the King and, the fierce tiger-dragon of old, has found Abhik! Now, it is only a matter of time before their paths collide. There will be a new King, but who?
