Walk Like An Egyptian (Maddie's Magic Markers Book 1)

In this first book in the series, Maddie gets some magic markers for her birthday that really turn out to be magical. When she uses them they take her back in time on factual historical journeys where she meets strong, female historical characters. In this book Maddie uses her red marker to go back in time to Egypt where she meets Cleopatra. Maddie helps Cleopatra out of jam, finds a famous tomb and tries to figure out how to get back to the present day.

This original book was a birthday present for my real daughter, Maddie. Everyone liked it so well, I decided to publish it and now it has turned into a series. So far, I've been fortunate to sell over 35,000 copies in the series. If you like this one, check out the other books in the series.
