The Intimate Connection

No one in reality has lost any part of themselves. That is an impossibility. It would be as if you had made the discovery that you had the ability to grow another arm coming out of the middle of your body but had never learned how to do it. The part that we have “lost” is simply the recognition of the wonderful capabilities we have to bring forth whatever is within us for a true intimacy with life. We are only lost if we choose to be, out of fear, ignorance, disbelief, inadequacy, or whatever condition seems to lie within us.
Our purpose here is to find that “lost self” and bring it into full view, heal it, make it well and free, so that we can go forth to do the wonderful work that is uniquely ours to do. No one has quite the same path to follow or has quite the same work to do for the benefit of everyone. The opportunity to gain that “next plateau” of greatness is ours to enjoy as we pursue the goal and gain true intimacy with life.
