As Jack Mahony bent over to stretch out his back while waiting to tee off, he had no idea what the appearance of those white golf shoes under his nose was about to set in motion. If he had, he would have waived the man through and waited for another player.

An unattached college professor, Jack appears to have it made—at least that’s what he’s convinced himself. No complications. No messy emotions. Just a simple, clear focus on teaching and tee times.
