Cronin Trilogy the Northern Light the Green Years Shannons Way

The Northern Light is about a London company's unsuccessful attempt to ruin a respected local newspaper, The Northern Light, by running a sensationalist rival paper. The Green Years is a novel which traces the formative years of an Irish orphan, Robert Shannon, who is sent to live with his draconian maternal grandparents in Scotland, and Shannon's Way continues the story of Robert Shannon from the previous novel, The Green Years.
