Description

Every October 31, millions of people - young and old alike - dress up like witches, demons, ghosts, and assorted other “evil” characters to celebrate what has become one of America’s biggest retail holidays – Halloween!

Where did the tradition of the Halloween celebration originate?

Halloween comes to us from a long line of tradition which goes back thousands of years. While this celebration was not always called “Halloween,” it was known by a variety of names in a variety of countries over thousands of years.

While it is true that the Irish brought the celebration of this festival to America in the 1840’s, they did not originate the festival.

Hundreds of years before the Irish celebrated their festival, the Druids (priests of the Celtic people) held a festival to celebrate their new year at the end of summer as the sun was dying. The Druid festival was called Samhain and it was held to honor their many gods – their sun god in particular. The Druids were the first “trick or treaters,” for they roamed the countryside going from castle to castle demanding a “treat” of human victims for their festival sacrifices. If no “treat” was given to these pagan marauders, they would play a “trick” on the castle inhabitants. Before the night was over, someone in the castle would die of fright! The Druids, however, did not originate the festival of Samhain!

The first Halloween ritual was celebrated thousands of years ago in the post-Flood world in Mesopotamia (now called Iraq). While we do not know the exact name of this ancient festival, we do know that it involved worship of fire and serpents; astrology; witchcraft; magic; communicating with the spirits of the dead; and human sacrifice.

The first of these festivals was instituted by Nimrod at the Tower of Babel. Nimrod was a mighty leader of the Babylonian people and he persuaded them that he was a god who had come down to earth and as such, was to be worshipped. Nimrod, along with his wife, founded what the Bible refers to as Mystery Babylon – a pagan, false religious system that included worship of many gods and goddesses, fire, serpents, the sun and moon, and the planets.

From ancient Babylon, this diabolical mystery religion and the pagan rituals associated with it spread to Egypt, Asia, North and South America – all over the world. As Halloween, it is now firmly entrenched in mainstream, modern society where it has become high on the list of many people’s favorite celebrations.

Dressing in scary costumes and going trick-or-treating are only a few of the customs of our traditional Halloween celebration which come to us right from the world of the occult and paganism.

Most of us are exposed to the occult every day through movies, television, media ads, computer games, and role playing games. This exposure is purposely hidden from us so we are not consciously aware of it. How can this happen? The scary answer to this question is revealed in this book.

Many parents do not know that their children are being exposed to the occult and paganism through the school systems. In the lower grades and high school, this exposure is carefully hidden and incorporated into various teaching programs.

The popular Harry Potter series has been praised as being a wonderful vehicle to help children develop better reading skills. However, there is a hidden, obscure theme underlying these books. Does the Harry Potter series introduce its readers to the world of the occult?

The author uncovers the ancient origins of Halloween which have been purposely hidden and obscured. The celebration of Halloween is a tradition derived from Baal worship, the occult, and paganism.

What unseen forces do we pay tribute to when we celebrate Halloween? This book is a must-read for those who want to understand the real origin of this pagan tradition.
