Confessions of John D. Lee - The Tanners Photomechanical Reprint

This is an exact PHOTO-REPRINT of the original 1877 edition (Bryan, Brand, & Co.) of "Mormonism Unveiled or The Life and Confessions of the Late Mormon Bishop, John D. Lee", in which Lee gave an account of his (and other Mormon leaders') participation in the infamous Mountain Meadows Massacre, for which Lee received all of the blame, though he claimed that others were also culpable. It provides important first-hand information of one of the most tragic yet little known chapters of United States history, in which 120 men, women, and children of a wagon train passing through Utah were murdered by a Mormon-led band.
