Once a place of light, the city of Bardaic borders the edge of eternal night and as the infamous Angel of Music continues to conduct his symphony there seems to be no hope of stopping the descent into darkness. One heart remains pure though in the night. Isabel, a talented and powerful singer, refuses to let the Angel ruin the city. In her persistence to sing of love, which has been banned out of fear of the Angel's wrath, she find herself overhearing the song of a mysterious man hidden in the shadows. Determined to sing as he does, Isabel joins the shadowed man in twilight. Her persistence to learn of love though brings her closer to the night than she has ever been, and the closer she gets the more she realizes that her own heart is not as free from darkness as she once thought.
